Functional Movement Analysis - A Multidisciplinary Approach to Client Assessment

Question: How do you qualify a client/athlete for loading and advanced training methods - while minimising the risk of orthopedic injury?

Answer: You can't! ...Unless you truly understand the mechanics of lifting.

Click here for a testimonial from Rachel Guy, Physiotherapist and upcoming FMA Instructor

Functional Movement Analysis is a 3-day course that was originally designed to be the first course of the Strength & Power Series. However it was soon recognised that to limit this course to those interested in the areas of strength and power development, would be a huge dis-service to every other fitness professional in the industry!

For this reason Functional Movement Analysis was separated and now holds its own as a stand-alone course. It is highly recommended for anyone working in a discipline that works with functional performance of the human body. This includes personal trainers, athletic coaches, strength & conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, sport & exercise scientists and CHEK professionals.

This course introduces the student to the 'Load Transfer Model' - a comprehensive orthopedic assessment process that qualifies the client/athlete for loading and training protocols. You are also introduced to the 'Observation, Measurement and Intervention' approach which teaches you tools that you can immediately implement in your training facility.

Students who have attended this course have left with a new skill set that has drastically enhanced performance outcomes with their clients.

Whether you intend to advance into the Strength and Power Series or not - This course is MUST for anyone currently training with weights and/or applying weight training protocols to their clients.
