The focus of Level 2 is advanced back care. We know that poor posture is a major contributor to aches and pains of your clients. This course investigates and assesses all aspects of back pain and posture. You will develop advanced assessment skills, exercise applications and modification, plus program design skills relevant to clients with back pain and dysfunction.
During Level 2, you will learn about:
- How to identify Red Flags and what to do to avert them;
- How to design exercise programs for people with common orthopedic disorders;
- Correct Ergonomics in the Workplace;
- Hyper- and Hypomobility;
- Practical Assessments including Length/Tension Testing and Range of Motion Analysis.
Pre requisite C.H.E.K Institute courses from January 2009:
Completed C.H.E.K Practitioner Level 1 Certification
(approx 14 - 15 hours to complete) Dynamic Medicine Ball Training Correspondence Course
(approx 7 - 10 hours to complete) Swiss Ball Training Correspondence Course
(approx 9 - 10 hours to complete) Advanced Swiss Ball for Rehabilitation Correspondence Course
