Golf Biomechanics - What you Will Learn
 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

Day One

  • The C.H.E.K System for developing golf performance
  • Biomechanical requirements of the golf swing
  • Biomechanical relationships to common swing faults
  • Golf swing analysis

Day Two

  • A scientific approach to stretching the golfer
    • Developmental stretching
    • Maintenance stretching
  • Teaching the golfer how to stretch
  • Muscle length/tension assessment for the golfer
  • Understanding the application of static stability training

Day Three

  • Static stability training instruction
  • Understanding the application of static stability training
  • Dynamic stability training instruction
  • Understanding the application of dynamic stability training

Day Four

  • The importance and application of strength training for golf
  • Strength training exercise instruction

Day Five

  • The importance and application of power training for golf
  • Power training exercise instruction
  • Periodization of stability, strength and power training for golfers

Day Six or Seven
AM - Written Examination (2 hours)
PM - Hands on Testing (2 hours approximately)
Participants may choose which day to take exams. Passing Grade: Written - 75%, Practical - 80%.
