Prerequisites for Functional Movement Analysis:

  • An understanding in both structural and functional anatomy
  • It is recommended (but not a requirement) that students have a working knowledge of the key fundamental lifts – Squat, Dead Lift and Bench Press

Learning Objectives:

(1) To develop a theoretical and practical understanding of client assessment based on the ‘Load Transfer Model’.(2) To learn how to interpret assessment information – to qualify client for corrective protocols and lift selection

(3) To develop a theoretical and practical understanding of the Basic Lifts – with respect to the ‘Load Transfer Model’

Due to the clinical and practical nature of the material presented in this course, it will provide an invaluable training resource for all professionals working in the fitness, sports performance and rehabilitation fields.

Although this course is intended for experienced professionals interested in higher end learning – the teaching model used is designed to facilitate learning in students of all levels; as long as the prerequisite requirements have been met.
